ICM
Brief
We were asked by the International Midwifery Association to produce a film for the closing ceremony of their International congress in Toronto. The film needed to highlight all the events that took place over the week of the congress. The tone of the film needed to be upbeat and act as a series of memories of the event. We also wanted to show the scale of the event and highlight the great array of countries represented.
Production
There was a very tight turnaround for the film, as it was to be screened at the closing ceremony, so while I filmed the events throughout the day, Adam Clements edited the footage through the night. With years of experience working together, our workflow for this project was very smooth. The work we had done in pre-production, structuring the narrative, selecting interview questions and highlighting the key themes, allowed us to work as efficiently as possible.
